Made in Italy, which at the time guaranteed meticulous tailoring, collar, and finishing.

The proud use of the Trevira 2000 brand (which experienced its advertising and technical peak precisely during this period) and the design of the white knit collar with blue stripes (striped trim) unequivocally place this garment in the transition between the late 1960s and the first half of the 1970s.

Trevira 2000 is the key to the garment’s identity. It is a type of high-quality textured polyester developed by the German giant Hoechst in the 1960s and 70s.

It was the star fabric of the era because it didn’t lose its shape, was breathable by the standards of the time, didn’t require ironing, and allowed for a spectacular openwork knit that was very soft to the touch.

All measurement are from seam to seam.
