Trevira 2000 is the key to the garment’s identity. It is a type of high-quality textured polyester developed by the German giant Hoechst during the 1960s and 1970s.
It was the star fabric of the era, as it held its shape, was breathable by the standards of the time, required no ironing, and allowed for the creation of a spectacular fabric that was very soft to the touch.
